Join the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations on 29 April 2025 for the third webinar of this dynamic global series on sustainable forest-based bioeconomy approaches.
Global demand for forest products is expected to grow significantly by 2050. This will put increasing pressure on forest product value chains and resource availability.The webinar will explore sustainable forest product supply chains that balance economic, environmental and social needs. A diverse line-up of speakers will share their perspectives on opportunities for innovation to catalyse sustainable forest-based bioeconomy approaches.
This global webinar series is an integral part of the Country and Organization-Led Initiative on Sustainable Forest-based Bioeconomy Approaches and is supported by the Federal Ministry, Agriculture and Forestry, Climate and Environmental Protection, Regions and Water Management, Republic of Austria, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Finland.
