World Food Safety Day / Hybrid event in Japan to focus on General Principles of Food Hygiene

Japan Food Safety Management Association (JFSM) will be hosting an event titled "World Food Safety Day 2025" where individuals involved in food safety across the food chain can learn and share together. Attendees can join either in person or online. There will be time for participant networking at the venue.

Dr Emiko Araki, Scientific Advisor to the Japan Food Hygiene Association will be a guest speaker. In line with the theme “Food safety: science in action,” Dr Araki will give a lecture entitled: “The 2022 Revision of the Codex General Principles of Food Hygiene and the Role of Testing — The Relationship Between Validation, Verification, and Monitoring.”
